HideShow

Terms

What you agree to by using HideShow, and what we agree to. Effective 2026-09-12.

Who you are agreeing with

HideShow is operated by ADRIANO DE. S. BAVIERA TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO, trading as ALDL, Rua Dea Lucia, 25, São Paulo - SP, CEP 05855-275, Brazil. Using the service means accepting these terms and the privacy policy.

You must be 18

The service refuses an account with a date of birth under 18, and it is a condition of using it that yours is truthful. If we learn that an account belongs to somebody under 18 it is closed and its content erased, and no refund is due on what was spent.

Your account

  • One person, one account. Keep the password to yourself; what is done through your session is treated as done by you.
  • Your profile must be about you. Photographs must be of you and you must have the right to use them.
  • You can close the account at any time from your profile, and it is erased rather than hidden.
  • What you keep in Private is yours. Only share it with someone who has the right to see it, and only share things you have the right to share: never images of anyone else without their consent.

How people are expected to behave

The whole product is built on the other person being real and the conversation being honest. So:

  • No pretending to be somebody else, and no photographs of somebody else.
  • No asking anyone for money, gift cards, transfers or crypto, and no moving somebody to another app in order to do it. This is the single most common way people are hurt here and it is grounds for immediate removal.
  • No harassment, threats, hate, or sexual content involving minors: the last of which is reported to the authorities, not merely removed.
  • No sharing intimate or sexual images of anyone without their consent. A report of it goes to the top of the moderation queue, and it is grounds for immediate removal.
  • No commercial use, no advertising, no scraping, no automation against the service, and no attempt to break its limits.

You can block or report anybody from their profile or a conversation. A reported conversation is retained as evidence while the report is open, including if the reported account is deleted: see the privacy policy.

Credits

  • Credits are not money and are not a currency. They are a limited licence to use paid features of this service. They cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, or exchanged for cash.
  • What they buy is priced in the app and charged when the thing is used: a message beyond its length, a photograph, a voice note, a sticker, a minute of a call, a puzzle, a boost.
  • A call is charged a minute at a time, in advance. The minute in progress is not refunded when you hang up: it was bought before it started, which is the only way to charge for time without billing somebody afterwards.
  • Unused credits are refundable under the consumer law that applies to you, and we honour whatever statutory right of withdrawal you have. Credits already spent on a delivered feature are not.
  • If the service closes, remaining credits are refunded at the price paid.

Bought names

A name from the catalogue is held by one account at a time and is shown beside your username, never instead of it. Buying one is a licence to display it while your account exists; it is not ownership of the word, and it confers no rights outside this service. Closing the account releases the name back to the catalogue.

What we do not promise

  • That you will meet anybody, or that anybody you meet is who they say they are. Verification, chemistry and puzzles make deception harder; nothing makes it impossible. Take the ordinary care you would with a stranger, and meet in public first.
  • That the service is uninterrupted or free of faults.
  • That an automated safety signal is right. It is a prompt to look, not a verdict.

Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that puts other people at risk. Where it is safe and lawful to do so you will be told why, and you can dispute it through the contact form. Credits on an account closed for a serious breach are not refunded.

Changes

These terms can change. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. If you would rather not, close the account and ask for a refund of unused credits.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Brazil, in the courts of São Paulo, and disputes go to its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
