Protect your details
- Keep your surname, workplace and address off your profile.
- Use photos that are not on your other accounts.
- HideShow shows only your city and removes location from photos.
Spot a scam
- They ask for money, gift cards or crypto.
- A sudden emergency needs your help.
- An investment that cannot lose.
- They rush you to another app.

When a message looks like a scam, we warn the person who received it.
Share photos carefully
Anything on a screen can be screenshotted. Share only what you would be happy for them to keep.
Meeting in person
- Video call first.
- Meet somewhere public, and get there on your own.
- Tell a friend where you will be.
- Leave whenever you want.
If something goes wrong
- Block or report from the chat menu or their profile. People read every report.
- Intimate image shared without consent? Ask us to remove it and we act within 48 hours.
- No account? Use the contact form.
In danger? Call your local emergency services first.
